Research

The primary aim of this research program is to better understand the dynamics, i.e. injury, recovery, and adaptation, of the neuromusculoskeletal system, with regard to its function as a mechanical system. This aim has not been formulated based on theoretical interest alone, but also since a better understanding of the dynamics of the system will help to solve problems related to injury and adaptation of the neuromusculoskeletal system in several areas of practice, e.g. rehabilitation, ergonomics and surgery
